We are the only beer garden in central Illinois that operates out of a shipping container rain or shine. Located in the middle of downtown Urbana, we share space with an outdoor graffiti gallery. Our season starts mid-March (usually the week of St. Patricks) and we close up shop the week before Thanksgiving. Check our website for beers on tap or follow us on Facebook for the latest music and events. To get in touch, complete the 'contact us' form for inquiries. Cheers!
Did you know that Urbana was named a gold-level bicycle friendly community? Basically this means we like bikes, and we like people that ride bikes. Once a month we will kick off the week with a Bike From Work happy hour. If you ride on over from 4:30pm-6:30pm, then the first drink is on us!
Are you a cheap date and can't get enough of All Things Considered, TED Radio Hour, or This American Life? Join us every Wednesday where we stream our favorite podcasts from 4:30pm-6:30pm. Chat up our staff and find out what's on special.
Since we only focus on liquid diets, we encourage you to crowdsource your carryout. We don't really know what this means, but there are a ton of restaurants all within walking distance. Grab a beer, find some people that are hungry, and place a large order with the people you just met. High five, you local economic stimulus package!
"Finally the weekend's come And everything is goin' down Nine to five and now it's time For me to get around
Good poppin' ain't no stoppin' Everybody's in the mood Mind blowin' once you feel the music Startin' to get to you
Disco nights, party lights It's all good for me, yeah
Thank God it's Friday Party lights, Friday night feelin' right It's a party" - R. Kelly
Saturday's a wild card. There might be a band. There might be a brisket. Maybe a party with pickled beets. You'll have to come and find out!
